Term 2 Week 2 update
Just a reminder that on Wednesday 11th November we will be having lunch in classes. (You should have received an email/text alert this week about this). This is due to work needing to be carried out by contractors on the partition in our school hall. This will be a packed lunch of soup, sandwiches, fruit/veg and home baking. A drink will also be provided. Breakfast club and After School club will be unaffected as they will be starting work when all children have arrived to class and finish by the time ASC starts. We will resume lunches in the canteen on Thursday.

Also on Wednesday we are going to ‘Wear it Red’ to commemorate Remembrance Day. Although commemorations need to be different this year we want to ensure that we are able to help support the Scottish Poppy Appeal. This was discussed at our Friday assembly. Children and Adults can wear red to school on Wednesday and bring in a small donation of whatever amount you wish. We will then send all funds to the Scottish Poppy Appeal. For more information of other ways you can support at home visit https://www.poppyscotland.org.uk/
Thank you to everyone who has been following the latest guidance issued by Highland Council and Scottish Government in the last week to wear face coverings when entering the school grounds. This means that when dropping off or picking up children for nursery or school face coverings should be worn. We really appreciate everyone’s efforts and by working together we can help to keep our community safe.
Thank you.
